The Arkansas Brogue is a work of art. I purchased the Brogue in black in the Fall of 2012. The Brogue is one of the finest pair of shoes/boots I have ever owned. The quality is unreal. The attention to detail in the wingtip style bumps the overall look of these boots to a whole new level. Pictures do not do these boots justice. You must see these "live". I highly recommend these boots, especially in black. They feel better and better with each wear. These boots are all leather, including the sole which is a thick plank of leather. Frye even lines the inside of the boot with another layer of soft leather. Order 1/2 size smaller than you usually order. I don't understand why boot makers don't make boots true-to-size, but nevertheless ...I wear 9 in "everything" but the 8 1/2 Brogue fit perfectly. I can't brag enough about these boots - GET A PAIR - you will be a believer.

fast shipping,made in u.s.a.,keep americans working, if you're gonna wear these boots only in warm weather order one full size smaller,if you're gonna wear in all 4 seasons order 1/2 size smaller and double up on socks, for $378 i see the quality compared to cheap made in china boots,no flaws,no misstiches,none of the little things that would make you say for $378 you think they would of did that,one thing though-boots were dusty comin out of the box,spend a minute and wipe em off,other than that that will save up for a brown pair

I just purchased the dark brown Arkansas Brogue boot and I am very happy with them. They are a little pricey, but they have exactly the mix of rugged and refined that I was looking for. They are very well crafted and comfortable enough to wear all day. They can be a bit on the warm side, but I would guess that this is to be expected in a leather boot. I typically wear between a 8.5 and 9.5 depending on the shoe, so I ordered an 8.5 and they fit perfectly. What I am saying is that they run a little big.
