I've been won over by Frye and their Carson Ballet, this certainly won't be my last pair of Frye's especially in flats!
I bought these yesterday, and read the reviews afterward. I'm very picky about what goes on my feet, especially flats because none seem to fit me right and they certainly aren't comfortable. These were seriously heaven, like they were made costum for my feet, which surprised me because they are legit flats, not exactly supportive. I couldn't take them off! I misread the price when I originally tried them on but they are beyond worth the amount they cost, as I mentioned, I wasn't about to leave the store without them after that.
Other reviews said that they sized down by atleast half; I didn't have that problem at all, mine was true to size - (my peep toe heel size is 8.5 which was exactly what I got - I consder this my true size but with some sneakers I can be a 9; if you keep that in mind they should fit like a glove as mine did!) I am hoping they don't stretch out at all, because they didn't fit tight at first either. I also got the silver multi and want them to last a long time and am kind of concerned about care instructions with the multi leather; I wish Frye told me how to care for the cracked leather or if its the same.

Were a bit tight at first, but after a day of wearing they conformed perfectly to my foot. It now feels like they are custom made. Absolutely beautiful colors and soft leather, I am definitely planning on getting more colors.
Frye's are always worth the investment. Order with complete confidence.

Bought the Carson flats in cognac and I love them! I did size down from a 9 to an 8.5. At first they felt a little tight but were still comfortable. After 1 day they stretched and fit perfect! They're beautiful. I think I need to buy a black pair now. :)

Great cute shoe, but I ordered the smoke that looks surprisingly exactly like the dark brown. VERY disappointed in the color, but the shoe itself is adorable and comfy. Just really wish the color was true to the picture, again very disappointed by that.

I listened to the other reviewers and went a 1/2 size down and they are very tight. I am in between a 9.5 and a 10 and bought the 9.5 so I may not return, but they are definitely almost too small. If you are a full size I would be wary of downsizing.
Otherwise the quality is great. I really do hope they stretch out a bit though.

I read the previous reviews and went down half a size but even then the 71/2 was still too big. My foot is around 9.25 inches long if that helps- I'm normally a size 8 but with this flat I would have to go with a size 7. Other than the size issue, the flats are beautiful! I'm going to return them to get the size 7 so unfortunately I'll have to wait a few more weeks to actually wear them.

Be sure to size down, the leather will eventually stretch out. I bought a size 8 1/2 (I'm usually a size 9) and now they won't even stay on my feet. Next time I'll buy an 8.

I love the Carson ballets. They're simple, cute, and so comfortable...and they go with everything, so when I'm rushing in the morning, they're my go-to flats!
