I have been drooling over these boots for 2 years and read every review out there before finally taking the plunge last week! The boots arrived yesterday (the dark brown color) and they are THE MOST BEAUTIFUL boots I have ever laid eyes on! The distressing is perfect (not too much like you might read about in other reviews), the fit was just right (I struggled to get them on for about 10 minutes the first go 'round, but once my foot is in they are soooo comfortable)...I wear an 8 1/2 in all other shoes and that is what I ordered in this boot. These are NOT going back...in fact, I get sad when I have to take them off at the end of the day! If you are on the fence about these, trust me, you'll love them!!!

This is by far my favorite frye boot. When I first tried it on I had difficulty getting my foot in past the ankle and was worried I'd either have to return them or have them stretched by a cobbler. After a bit of finagling I was able to fit my foot in the boot and they fit perfectly! I had to wear them around for a while to get the ankle area to loosen slightly and now I have absolutely no problem getting them on and can wear them with all types of jeans tucked in. One of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I own. Highly recommend.

Was a little wary of these, as they are beautiful, but thought they'd be difficult to pull on... WRONG! LOVE THEM! They were worth every cent! They have a rugged, yet classic style; western without looking like a cowboy boot. (A cross between western and a riding boot.) Also, they don't even need to be broken in; comfy from the first wear, and I wore them ALL DAY! Go for this boot.
