Love the boots but it's been in the teens outside so I first tried the boots on with semi-thick Smart Wool wool socks. Recently it warmed up enough to wear just tights out and I find the boots are almost one whole size too big! I may see if I can return them. My Garnet Hill boots fit with and without wool socks :( Buy these boot 1/2-1 size smaller than reg. size.

Fit: Fit felt true to size

What a classic equestrian boot - I went with Redwood. Simple, beautiful details, and amazing craft and leather as you would expect from Frye. I greatly debated getting a smaller size, but my ankle rubbed where the seam is and I figured I'd stick with my true size. I'm happy that I did. Very comfortable and easy to pull on and off. They're a little slippery in the rain/snow, but I shouldn't have been wearing them in the elements anyway! This pair of boots will definitely stay in my collection for years to come!

Fit: Fit felt a half size larger than marked

This is a beautiful boot. I purchased a pair in the Tan color, and it is lovely. I am nomally a size 10.5 and I decided to order a size 10, and it's just right. Heels slips a bit in the beginning, so don't plan to be in them for a long time the first time you wear them. Eventually, the heel slippage goes away as you wear them. Like any riding boot, it's going to take some time to break them in. I am excited to see what they will be like 1 year from now, 5 years from now, etc. I am expecting to have them a long time.
