    Frye boots are truly unparalleled quality. These boots were comfortable from the moment I stepped into them. They have a relatively decent arch support despite having a 2 1/2" heel, making them suitable for a fair amount of walking. The shaft of the boot does not fit tightly around my calves, so I can easily wear them over skinny jeans or leggings (I am 5'1", 98 lbs for anyone looking for a reference). I ordered these in dark brown and the leather could not be more beautiful. The color is nearly identical to what is shown. The toe of the left boot had a round spot that was slightly discolored coming out of the box. If this cannot be remedied I won't mind so much because in a way it adds a little extra character to the boot (plus it will make that first scuff a little less painful). I had been pining for this pair of boots for nearly two years and I could not be happier with my purchase! I would absolutely recommend these to anyone.
