Veronica Slouch

I've had these now for almost 3 years, though after being worn nearly every day for an entire school year, they've sat in the back of my closet. I pulled them out yesterday, and they are so comfy I don't know why I've neglected them! They did take about a month of me wearing bandages and padding my feet in certain places due to blisters, but once they were broken in they are very comfortable. The only thing I have to say is that for the price of these boots, I don't feel that the soles hold up like they should. After wearing these pretty often for 9 months, the heels wore down so much (and I don't really scuff my heels when I walk) that now I can't wear them until I get them resoled, which I hope won't ruin the look of them. I'm sure if I didn't live in NYC and didn't have to walk everywhere, this wouldn't be as big of a problem. Anyway, these were my first pair of Fryes and I've since gotten one more pair and am planning my next pair for my birthday next month! Love them. And after 3 years they still smell like new leather, which I adore!

The fit is true to size and the quality of craftsmanship assures you will have these boots for years. The slouch occurs naturally over time but you can push them down if you want the slouch faster.
