I got these in “good”
"I got these in “good” condition on the Found site and they came in amazing shape! No wear at all on the soles. The fit is hard to break in, but I expected that. A few weeks in, and they are getting more comfortable each day. I wish I would’ve tried to find the wide calf option (my calves are exactly 14 inches around, so they are tight but they don’t bunch at the ankle like they are too tight)."

Leather paint cracking
"This was my first ever Frye purchase. I ordered the Campus 14L in size 8. 5, which is true to my size. The shoe went on fine with a little bit of a tug when it got to the ankle. What I was most upset about was that the leather paint was cracked (see photos). The cracking was all along the back shaft of the shoe and the vamp area. By the time I put the shoe on, there was black speckles of paint all over my hands and thigh from trying the shoe on. The bourbon shade looked more like pure black than bourbon. I'm really hoping this is a one-off manufacturing error."

Poor quality build
"Poor quality and no company backing. The leather inside the outer and inner leather in the heal folded over. Not enough glue or poorly stitched. Freyr did not warranted the boots. Paid way to much for this type of service."

Not So Impressed
"I bought these boots thinking that they would be more substantial in the leg area. The leather in the leg area was very thin compared to the bottom of the boot. All the substance is in the heel and on the foot of the boot. They are so heavy and the back of my foot lifts up when I walk. They run a bit small too because I bought a 7 and they were quite snug. I was tempted to get a wide calf but I imagine they would like like I am wearting buckets. I have another 2 weeks to decide if I will return them."

My only complaint is that
"My only complaint is that they came slightly damaged (scratched and dented in the front) and in a damaged box. They had clearly been worn/purchased before I received them. Customer service simply told me to exchange them, but I wanted to wear them to an event and didn't have time to do so. Disappointing because of how expensive they are and how long I waited to buy them, but, yes, they are Frye and high quality, and fit well."

Sooo disappointed
"These boots suck :( I have a pair from 2009 that Ive worn the shit out of and they look way better than these after only three wears. it looks like the color is SCREEN PRINTED on the leather. There was also a bunch of plastic stuck in the stitching when I first got them and I had to pick it off as you can see from the picture I didn’t get all of it. The leather is super thin it’s half the weight of my other pair. the quality of new dry boots is in the toilet. For 500 these should be much better. I wish I could return:( now I’m stuck with $500 dollar boots that look cheap. Frye I’d love to chat."

Awful.
"Ordered saddle campus boots and received a darker red color with significant variations and a scratch. They look like a tiger print it's so severe. Aside from the fact that these are entirely the wrong color, these are seconds quality at best."

Powder Gray needed!
"I absolutely love the famously iconic campus boots! So much that I have collected over 16 different pairs of colors of the leather & suede versions. I really am hoping that they will come out with a beautiful classic soft medium powder gray color. (Not really a fan of the metallic versions, feel they are too trendy for the price). ) But the ones that I have, I’ll be wearing 20yrs from now! They’re built to last - the comfort & style are unmatched!"
