"I like my new boots alot! They fit true to size. I am glad that they don't have shearing in t he foot bed because it leaves room for padded wool socks and an insert for my arch if need be. They kept my feet warm and dry. There is a little tightness in the width breaking in."
"Leather looks brown and suede is black. Colors are way off. Although the description says the shearling only goes as far down as the ankle, I REALLY wish the foot bead and toe box was also shearling. Unfortunately they were final purchase so I cannot return them. I have been wearing (almost exclusively) Frye boots, shoes and sandals for almost 15 years. This is the first pair I am disappointed in."
"As others have said, the sherling lining is only in the shaft, which does make the upper part of the boot quite warm, however the lower part of the boot is unlined and doesn’t keep your feet very warm so I wouldn’t say they are a good cold weather boot. The foot bed is very hard. I wore them for a day and the color on the edges of the sole is chipping away. My other campus boots have never done this."
"I just received my Shearling Black boots. The shaft is actually Black suede, nice and soft. The foot part is more of a brownish black which I don't mind at all. In fact they look just like the picture. However, the foot is really, really hard. I will have to purchase some soft inserts before I can wear them out. I normally wear a size 9 1/2 to 10, I sized down to a 9 a the fit is great they just hurt so bad. Thinking about returning them. My feet can't hurt for $300."
"I just received my boots today. First off, thank you Frye! These boots are perfect for me! True to size, as I sized up a half size to accommodate an orthotic. Secondly, fit is spot on. Well made, awesome contrast from suede to leather. For me, no break in needed. Finally, I put them in, ran my errands and definitely worth every penny! Love them❤️!"
"The boot was cute on the outside but was not able to try them out. The circumference was way too tight. I am 6. 5-7 and ordered a 6. 5. I doubt I would be able to get into a 7. 5. The interior shearling lining does not go all the way to the foot so also not as cozy as I had hoped."
"So cute & cozy once on, but they are very stiff and pokey on the front of the boot as everyone else mentioned. Description also says leather outsole like other campus boots, but they are definitely rubber. When I asked customer service, I was told their specs say leather so eventhough it looks, feels and smells like rubber, apparently I'm wrong. When asking customer service further and sending photos, they didn't have an answer which is pretty weird. . . ."
"I am sadly returning them. They are beautifully made, however I found them to be very heavy and the upper part super stiff. I could not imagine walking around all day in them. Super bummed but am purchasing the regular Campus instead."

"There are really comfortable and warm. Nice looking boots. I did take one star off since these aren’t all black. Just the shaft - the rest is brown which I’m not a fan of. Keeping them since otherwise they are great and the price was right."
