This is a scam!!!! Don’t buy it!!!!
"This is a scam!!!! Don’t buy it!!!! They drew a few brown scratches on black boots and kept claiming it’s antique black, but the metal color is different and one side is just plain black. I contacted customer service but they keep saying it's black, which is a completely different product and a scam. . ."

Wrong Color Sent and Disappointing Quality
"Honestly, this was a really frustrating experience. I should have listened to the reviews don’t make the same mistake I did. I ordered the “Antiqued Black” Conway Harness boots, but what I received was clearly just the regular Black version. This is not a subtle difference or lighting issue the Antiqued Black has a distressed, brown-toned finish and different hardware, while the pair I got is just plain black with none of that character. On top of that, the overall quality and condition were disappointing. The finish doesn’t look like what was advertised, and it doesn’t match the premium feel I expected. Customer service has also been frustrating to deal with so far slow responses and no clear resolution yet, which just adds to the irritation. For a $400+ pair of boots, I expected way better accuracy, quality control, and support. Really disappointed with this purchase."

Frye does not stand behind their products
"I purchased these shoes six months and three days ago from Nordstrom‘s. One of the teeth on the zipper broke (in my opinion, a manufacturer defect), making one inoperable. Understandably Nordstrom would not take a return on them after 6 months so I contacted Fry customer support. I sent two emails via their portal with a copy of the receipt and pictures of the boot. I received no response after a week. I then called fry customer support and was told that they no longer offer a warranty on footwear. I guess you’re around long enough you hear at all. I paid $418 for these shoes from a company that doesn’t stand behind their workmanship. Instead customer service recommended I mail them to a third party shoe repair store in NY at my cost. I’m embarrassed that I purchased from this company. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Frye. They will not stay behind their product or craftsmanship if there is a manufacturer defect."

"The zippers are of a terribly made quality. Zippers broke on my first pair out of the box! Exchanged them …And zippers broke on the second pair after wearing only twice. S*#~itty quality."

Poor quality for the money
"Both heels are coming apart, halfway down the heel. Can’t believe I paid $400 had the boots for four months honestly I believe I wore them five times. I decided to put them on yesterday to go out and noticed the heel is splitting on both boots right in the middle you can take it apart like a sandwich."

Done with Frye forever
"Let me preface this by saying that I have been a loyal Frye customer for over a decade. I have purchased numerous pairs of shoes/boots and still regularly wear a pair that I bought in 2012 or 2013. I have worn them in every weather condition and have walked probably thousands of miles in them. They have held up wonderfully, requiring only a re-sole when they were worn down. I was excited to splurge on another pair as a gift for my boyfriend. I figured he would have these boots forever just like I have had with my Frye boots. Boy was I wrong. After two wears, we noticed a seam was coming undone so I reached out for customer support for assistance. Surely these had to be under warranty. Wrong. They told me that because I had purchased the boots more than 30 days prior, I would have to get them repaired by a cobbler at my own expense or they could offer me a 15% refund (about $55). We chose to get them repaired at our own expense. Fast forward another year later. Although my boyfriend loves the boots, he does not wear them often so they are still practically brand new. Last night he wore them and, when it came time to take them off, he couldn’t get the boot off because the zipper was stuck!! After multiple different approaches over about 20 minutes of his foot being stuck in the boot, we wound up having to break the zipper to free him from this boot. Insane. Between the original cost of the boots plus the cobbler expense to repair the seam, I spent over $400 on these boots that he only wore maybe half a dozen times. The quality of Frye has gone so far downhill it’s laughable. The customer service is equally horrid. I will never buy another Frye item. Picture of the split seam, broken zipper, and sole so you can see how barely used they are."
