"Really gorgeous boots. I purchased my first pair of Fryes in 1979; have had many since. These boots are very wide in the calf circumference: stated on website is 14.5". True measurements is 17" . My legs aren't skinny;these are a wee bit floppy. I love them even even so."

Terrible customer service and exchange policy.

"I bought a pair of these boots while on sale in wide calf, turns out I didn’t need wide calf despite following the measurements provided in the sizing chart. Apparently you can not exchange a wide calf to normal calf and expect them to honor a sale price even though both items have identical pricing and were both on sale for the same price. I would recommend going to a real store where they will gladly honor sales prices for exchanges. Not this money hungry greedy retailer."

"Excellent design and premium leather! Fits true to size. I’m usually a 7.5 and they fit perfectly! I ordered the Merlot from Belk and they sent me an 8 in a 7.5 box! It fits slightly larger and the shaft is larger and taller. I couldn’t return them! Lesson learned: Order from Frye directly!"
