"I wish I would've read the reviews before purchasing these boots. I bought a 9, and they're way too tight and kill my toes. I typically wear a size 9. I purchased a shoe enlarger, and that has helped, but I feel like they return to being way too tight in between wearing."
"They do run small. I bought an 8 1/2 and should have gotten a 9. I am normally an 8. The leather is pretty hard they need. Breaking in."

"I love my new boots! Customer service support was also excellent. I’ve been looking to order these boots for sometime now and I am so grateful that I finally did. They fit perfectly I am in between size 9:5/10 so I sized down and I’m sure glad that I did, they fit perfectly, snug but room to stretch as these boots are leather. I’m looking forward to purchasing my next pair of Frye boots in the near future!"
"Love these booties. So comfortable, the feel of the leather is just right, and the style is perfect. Only complaint is that there's no zipper so getting them on and off is quite challenging. Hope they stretch a little and wear in after another couple of dozen wears."
"Awful. Worst Frye boots I’ve had in twenty five years. These hurt as the ankles are cut in. I’m not sure who designed these. Poor quality. Could not get a refund and I asked. Very disappointed. I’m a long time customer and will not be back."
"Overall I love these boots. The style is perfect. They go with everything. Once they’re broken in, they’ll fit like a glove…I hope. The right one slips a little in the heel and the left one is tight. It’s odd that they fit differently. But they’re really cool boots."

"I ordered a size 11 online and they sent me a size 6 and told me they’re non returnable because of final sale. I talked to customer service and she said that the system probably glitched but I can’t get my money back. Super terrible Experience, will never trust buying online from this company again. Completely waisted my money and customer service showed no remorse."
