Nice boots but the toe
"Nice boots but the toe is not as it appears in the photo. It's more rounded than pointy. Disappointing. I sized up 1/2 size, and am glad I did."
"Lovely as always. This is my 5th pair of Fryes. They always run a 1/2 size too small so I order up. Im a true 7 and order a 71/2. This time they feel huge, more like an 8. I purchased a big fat insert which is perfect but for such expensive and beautiful boots, I wish they would get their sizing correct!"
poor customer service and design
"Do not purchase boots from Frye . They have no customer service and no interest in providing any support whatsoever. I ordered these boots for an event, but could not change the rate of shipping to something other than 'economy'. I then tried to cancel the order but was told it was too late. When the boots did arrive I found them to be poorly constructed. The snap close would not stay shut, and you have to unsnap them to get to the zipper. The cost to return them was 32. 00. They even charged for the return label. The new corporate owners care nothing about customer service. It's sad that a once great company that had great products has been reduced to a cheap line of boots they can not even stand behind. If you must buy them, buy them vintage."
Very happy with these boots.
"Very happy with these boots. A true 8. 5 and not too wide for a more narrow foot like mine. I wore all day on first day and they were extremely comfortable. Hits above ankle, no digging in, soft leather. Color is gorgeous, prettier in person, rich tones, no orangey effect, a true camel/caramel color."

I have been purchasing Frye
"I have been purchasing Frye boots for many years. They are the best boots. I have had a pair of Frye boots since 2015 which I wore almost everyday in the cool weather. I did just replace them this month. It does take a couple of days to break them in but it’s not a problem. I highly recommend Frye boots!!"

"I'm a 6. 5 and ordered a 6. 5. . . super tight. I started wearing the thinnest socks I have and they were ok, moved up to a thicker sock and still super tight. I think I could have them stretched, but hesitate as I don't want them to be too loose. They're gorgeous, but also SUPER heavy!"
