Mediocre compared to old model

"I bought these on final sale, they’re fine, clearly made in the same factory as Thursday’s sneakers though Thursday doesn’t make this specific style (I returned a pair from there right before trying these). I had an old pair of these shoes from probably 2018 and they were the best shoe I’ve ever owned, but the design and details of these new ones are nowhere close to same quality. Ultimately I’m satisfied with them for the price but Frye needs to bring back the previous shoe - I’d buy them in multiple colors. Hopefully once they run out of this “final sale” stock they’ll bring back the good ones. These current ones run maybe 1/4 to a half a size larger than the pre-2020 style but still fit ok."

Not comfortable

"These shoes are very uncomfortable. Tongue does not stay in place. No arch support. Ridiculous. It will be someone’s lucky day at goodwill"

"Comfy, cushioned out of the box fit. On my feet for 5 hours of rehearsal, feet still feel great A little complicated to put on because there is no keeper in the tongue but, once you have them on, you won’t want to take them iff"

"3rd pair of Astor Low tops! This color Mushroom is softer suede then the SAGE BRUSH or MAHOGANY. The Mushroom color seems to be breaking in a little different as those other two felt a little looser after break in . The Astor is a great base level nice shoe that is actually worth the price."

These are my first Frye

"These are my first Frye shoes, and I must say it did not disappoint. They are comfortable and stylish. The leather is great and there is no break-down period. The white sole is very easy to maintain. They run bigger, but not too much. In all of my shoes I am a 10D, but for these Astor I had to go down 1/2 a size, so I ordered 9 1/2. I recommend this shoes."
