"I ordered a pair of Billy short boots in the color cognac and I received a different color. I received a moss color and those are on sale and that is not even what I ordered, but I paid full price for a pair of cognac boots and when I go to try to return request a return, I can't even find my order. Beware of ordering from Frye. This makes it look like I'm trying to switch shoes, and I've never received a pair of moss colored boots."

"These boots are lovely. I was able to slip my foot in without using a shoe horn. They are very comfortable and I have received many compliments. I love the eucalyptus color and style. They match up with many different colors of clothing items that I have styled them with. They are a nice addition to my collection of Frye boots and I love that I will be able to wear them in the summer months."
"I purchased the Billy Short boots in cognac to wear with my Levi slim leg jeans. They fit perfectly under my pants leg without binding up. The size 8 was true to size and did not require any “breaking in” or slipping in the heal area when walking. I’ve received many compliments on how stylish & cool they are."
"They are beautiful and I am excited to wear them. However, they are slippery on the bottom!!! I ordered the nonslip pads for the bottoms. I don’t think that I should have to add anything but my feet to boots that cost over 300$."
"This is definitely not the thing to wear if you want to run to catch the bus, but good for walking short distances and looking good. I expect that they will get more comfortable when the leather softens up from normal wearing."

"I just got these and boy are they gorgeous. Such a unique color. The leather is excellent quality and these “new” Billys are improved over the old because of the rubber piece on the sole. The old style soles were SLIPPERY. These are way better. I am between a 6. 5 and a 7 and got the 7. There is a little heel slippage but nothing a thicker pair of socks won’t fix. Have already treated them and am heading out the door wearing them for the first time."
