shoes are the right length
"shoes are the right length for 8. 5 but I couldn't keep them on; bought a $10 pair of heel inserts to apply at inside back of shoes and that seems to work. Quality is just not as good as the former Carsons . . . I have 8 pair and know the difference. My feet are a bit narrow/medium, yet sides of shoes bulge out in the back. Would not order again."
