I am extremely disappointed with
"I am extremely disappointed with the quality of these boots. I purchased these boots directly from FRYE at the end of May, expecting them to be a high quality product as the company claims and to last for a few years. Instead, after only about three months of normal wear, the soles began to crack and separate. I contacted FRYE customer service and provided multiple photos of the damage, including close ups of the cracked areas, the full soles, and the overall condition of the boots. FRYE acknowledged the cracking and sole separation but refused to offer a replacement, refund, or repair. Instead, they recommended that I take the boots to a local cobbler and pay for the repair myself. My shoes typically last me around a year and a half with normal use, so I find this level of deterioration extremely disappointing, especially for a pair of boots that cost around $350. I purchased these boots because of FRYE's reputation for quality and durability, but unfortunately, both the product and FRYE's customer service have fallen short of what I expected from this company. I would recommend reconsidering purchasing a pair of FRYE boots due to the product quality issues and lack of durability I experienced."

Beautiful Boots
"I have purchased many pairs of size 7 Frye Sabrina boots and kept them. I ordered the Jean Lace Up from Amazon about 6 months ago and they fit perfectly. They look really classy, nice leather and are well made. The laces are stiff and plastic-like. I returned them because they are so expensive. When they were on sale at Frye, I immediately purchased them. I was so disappointed because these were so narrow I could barely get my feet into them. I got them on a final sale. I'm thinking of bringing them to a cobbler to have them stretched. I checked the boot to try to find the size stamped inside the boot, thinking that the wrong size may have been placed in the size 7 box. Couldn't find the size stamp in either boot. Very disappointed. The boot is beautiful and I hope I can eventually wear them."

Just ok. Upper is well
"Just ok. Upper is well made, a little stiff. Bottom of heals had to be immediately replaced due to being hard and slippery. Plan to do that as slippery pads aren’t safe."

Final Sale Means No Size Exchange!
"Do not purchase final sale items from Frye unless you’re absolutely certain of the fit. If they don’t fit, Frye will not exchange them, even for the exact same boot in a different size. Instead, they expect you to resell them yourself. After spending over $200, this level of customer service is incredibly disappointing. This boot in particular runs small. I am usually a 9 and these run very narrow and small. So think twice before purchasing final sale items because it’s clear they don’t care if your stuck with a very expensive pair of boots that don’t fit you."

My favorite Frye product, ever!
"No breakin required, quite literally the most beautiful silhouette of any lace bootie I've ever seen or owned. These are incredibly comfortable, stunning boots. I receive compliments EVERY time I wear them. they smell amazing, look amazing, feel amazing. WORTH EVERY PENNY! The brown color is stunning, absolutely stunning. I have the black sitting in my cart. I feel I need them, because my brown ones need a friend. I'm sure they'll be coming home with me soon! Don't sit on these, they will define your wardrobe in every way- they look amazing with everything!"

Attention to the size
"The shoes themselves look fantastic and high quality. But sizing…. , oh boy. Got 7. 5 and had to regift it to my mother in law who wears 8. 5 and says they work, if she wears a thick sock. Considering getting a pair for myself accounting for the lessons learned."

"Depending on the shoe (if it has a heel or not) I can wear either a 7. 5 or 8. I am a size 7 but I can get away with wearing a 7. 5 or 8 in frye shoes. I've been very satisfied with all my frye shoes. They last very long. I have a pair of boots that are 10+ years old still and still going strong."

What happened to Frye's leather quality?!
"Leather is super thin and plasticky. Walking in these sounds like plastic squeaking. The soles have zero traction and the laces are super shiny and cheap. I would not pay anywhere near $348 for these. What happened to Frye's leather quality?!"

Like all my Frye boots,
"Like all my Frye boots, these are so well made and they fit true to size. This lace-up style works well with my relatively narrow feet and they don’t look enormous even though I wear a size 10. I definitely recommend these boots!"
