Joy Woodstock 2 Band Platform Slide

Embarrassingly awful

"Big mistake. I don’t understand how these work for anybody. The leather is not supple and its edges are harsh and painful. The soles are slippery and whole platform too flat/solid, so you have to lift and place your foot straight down to land perfectly horizontal to the floor (normal steps feel jarring and unstable). I bought one pair for myself and one as a gift, which needless to say I will not be gifting. It feels unethical to sell these to somebody else because they are so unusable, so it’s just money down the drain. I’m embarrassed to have bought them expecting the same comfort as another recent FRYE purchase rather than trusting the low average rating from prior reviews."

"These shows are really cute and was excited to get these because I felt I coild wear with a lot of different things in the natural almond color. I wore them around mall yesterday and my feet were pretty sore and tired afterwards. They were very stiff and a bit hard to walk in comfortably. Felt like between the stiffness of the big sole and the straps not super tight, I was having to try and keep them on my feet while I walked. Hopefully they break in and are more comfortable later, without the straps getting more loose and platform staying stiff, then itll be worse."

Disappointed

"Received my Joy Woodstock 2Band Plarform sandals in a 6. 5. I tried them on & they are way too big. I called customer service to see if I could exchange them for a size smaller & they won’t do that even though they in fact had a smaller size. I was told I have to list them through an exchange department & resell them. I may not be able to get the sandals I need by then in the right size as they might be sold out. What a hassle. I’m so disappointed. I’ve been a Frye customer over time."

"These are gorgeous sandals! The toe strap is a little tight, which is to be expected since suede and leather will stretch over time. I bought them in another color and will be returning these just bc I don’t need two. However, I do love them. Takes a bit of time to break in and really feel comfortable walking in them, but worth especially since I got them during the sale!"
