"Great Bag, but costs a lot of money. Bought it in the USA a few years ago as I was impressed by the heritage and the buffalo leather. . . However, was cleaning it and found a label inside stating "Made in India". so it is indian water buffalo hide. As a frequent traveller India, I have found similar bags in Mumbai for less than $50"
