"This is my 4th Melissa Hobo in a grayish color (smoke, carbon). This one is not the same quality. The leather is different (feels cheap). The lining is different (used to have a nice dark lining and now it's like a cheap burlap sack). I contacted customer service about this, but no one contacted me back. Very disappointed!"

"The leather and feel is nice but I’m horrible at reading the description and didn’t realize it was just a magnetic clasp. Additionally, the shoulder strap didn’t provide enough room. Maybe because my arms are a bit bigger? If I hadn’t bought it on clearance and had the option of returning it - I would have returned it."

"I was so excited to actually get my hands on this bag. If looks and feels great. The quality is excellent. It wears nicely on my shoulder or as a crossbody. I was concerned it would be too heavy, but it's not. I also love that the crossbody strap is adjustable. I was not disappointed."

"This is my second Melissa Hobo. I ordered the dark brown this time (Cognac previously). My first one is still in great shape 7 years later and the leather has gotten that “vintage” look over time. I get compliments constantly. The space is wonderful. I even fit a good sized purse organizer inside of it and still have room around all sides and top (so purse pockets are available). The zippers have held out beautifully over the years and I love the ease of magnetic closure. Beautiful purse and I haven’t found another I loved as much. My only complaint is that it isn’t available in black."
