I HAVE A "BOOT PROBLEM,"

"I HAVE A "BOOT PROBLEM," AND FRYE IS THE BEST THERE IS!!! IN TERMS OF WELL, EVERYTHING! THE WAY THEY ARE MADE QUALITY IS FANTASTIC - THEY ARE TRUE TO SIZE THEY ARE THE MOST COMFORTABLE I HAVE HAD!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FRYE!"

Not true to size

"I wear 8. 5 in all my shoes and even did the size guide through the website- these boots squeeze my toes and are not at all true to size. As they are final sale the support team (or AI bots) are no help either so make sure you are able to try these on before wasting your money!"

Olivia buckle tall

"Very disappointed with these boots. The product description did not mention that they have a synthetic lining, which was an unpleasant surprise. Given Frye’s reputation, I expected better quality and more accurate product information. Since the boots were final sale, I have no option to return them, making this even more frustrating."

Around the calf too big

"Around the calf too big and leaves a big gap…otherwise boot is fabulous! Love the size and tread!"

I am 5’ 9” with

"I am 5’ 9” with slim but muscular calves and narrow feet. I’m an 8. 5 or occasionally a 9 with thick socks. I have several Frye boots in 8. 5. These are 8. 5 and they fit perfectly. They’re tall and look amazing. The calf is slim, but I can wear over jeans. I love the beefy lug sole. These were cheaper than normal and were on a non-refundable sale. I gave only 4 stars because the quality is less than typical Frye’s. The leather is thin, the lining seems synthetic, the zipper's bright and cheap looking, they’re light-weight and hard-soled and not comfortable. Sadly, I probably can’t re-sole them a bunch and wear them for a lifetime like other Fryes. I hope that better version of these comes out! I will pay!"

Beyond disappointed

"I anxiously waited for my first pair of Frye boots. Sadly this are the worst shoes my feet have ever been in. The Oliva boot is so hard and narrow I could not comfortably put my foot in it even though I sized up one full size and wore thin socks. Mind you, I have medium (or normal) width feet. They are long enough but way too narrow for a medium width. Now I am stuck with them due to it being a final sale. And to top it off they are too high (I'm only 5'3" in height) on my leg, practically to my kneecap. I broke my own rules, don't buy online since you can't actually try it first. I'll have to sell them online at a loss since I can not return them. Maybe someone taller with narrow feet can enjoy them."

I am surprised at how

"I am surprised at how thin the leather is compared to my older ones which were made in Mexico. These are also lined with a thin material that I hope will last. They look nice but dont feel like Frye boots to me."

Too big/final sale

"Sadly I ordered these for my daughter as birthday gift and they are too large. I should have payed closer attention to the final sale note."

Feel and look cheap. I

"Feel and look cheap. I am very disappointed, I’d return them but it was a final sale. I could swear the boots I have are a knockoff. 👎"

Such a beautiful boot, love

"Such a beautiful boot, love the burgundy color, and yet. . . . not perfect for my foot. I tend to size up for boots partly b/c I like a hearty sock and partly because my foot is wide (not extra wide). And. . . i have a high arch. I had to put heal pads in these. And not sure if they are slightly too narrow or there isn't enough height in foot for my arches, but they are just not very comfy. Also quite stiff."
