"FedEx delivered to the wrong address- it was shown on a FedEx delivery photo. Never got the boots. Frye still hasn’t sent a new pair or refunded me. Frye shouldn’t make customers wait 3 weeks to hash things out with their delivery service. Terrible company. Will never use again. Thank god I didn’t buy more than one pair of shoes."
"I bought these boots in January 2025. I adore the mid-calf height and the zippers. I decided to splurge because I thought Frye was good quality and would last forever. I wore these often, but not every day, and I have a desk job. I would occasionally use leather conditioner on them. After less than one year, I had to get the heel caps replaced. About six months ago, a zipper broke, and I got it replaced as well. Last month, I noticed the leather was cracked on both boots. $250 boots cracked after less than two years!!! I told all my friends not to buy Frye anymore. So disappointing and frustrating."
"I was a bit surprised when these arrived. I actually thought I'd been scammed because the leather was so thin and smooth and the lining a bad light brown color that I associated with cheapness. Once I got over that, I wore them and boy oh boy. . . got massive blisters on my heels. I cant wear them again until I heal. So just to say not as perfect as other have commented here. Maybe that's why they are on sale. . . ."
"I absolutely love these boots. Most of my shoes are barefoot shoes, and putting these on my feet felt good. I prefer light weight shoes but this medium weight boot, did not hurt my feet at all while walking. My toes have enough room to wiggle, no rubbing and has good foot support. Overall, great quality and fit."

"At first, I didn't think the boot would suit me. However, after putting it on I saw that it was a pair of great looking boots and comfortable for work and walking. I can honestly say I do like the boots. A good value for my money."
"Very narrow ans at the same time, they slip making the ankles uncomfortable…. and I don’t have wide feet. Also very stiff, not comfortable to walk in. Zipper saving grace to get off. They’re still fun and edgy so if you have narrow, long feet these will work"
"Theses were returned. For a slightly wide foot, these boots fit narrow. The height of this boot was for a longer leg. . . so it felt awkward to stand in them when I tried them on. Maybe I'm not used to combat boots and platform soles. They looked great though. Very attractive leather and well tailored."
"Have had these boots one full year now. Very comfortable right out of the box with my narrow feet, that is the only reason why they the got two stars instead of one. The boots have completely separated and fallen apart inside on the back to the point I can’t even wear them anymore due to the plastic piece cutting into my heel. After one year, technically less than one year since I didn’t wear them at all in the summer and with unlacing and unzipping every time to take them off. Bought these expecting good quality given the brand/price, but beyond disappointed. Do not recommend, unless you only plan to wear them a handful of times a year."
"Love these, just the look I was hoping for. Side zip makes easing in super smooth and the breaking in took less than an hour with just a bit of stiffness when I first put them on. At 55, I wanted a boot that looks trendy, nods back to the punk days of the 80's but that would be comfy and made to last. These are the ones!"
