The Campus 14L by Frye is a versatile boot with a great look and timeless style, available in beautiful colors. Customers appreciate its perfect fit and unmatched quality, though opinions on the leather and calf sizing vary. Customer service feedback is mixed.

"Beautiful boots"
"I have been wearing Frye since the 1970s. I have now bought my third pair of Campus since they started being made in Mexico (where great leather goods are often made). I returned the first two pair- The first (lt brown) was due to poor quality- the flaws in the leather were significant tho the color was gorgeous. The second was the bright blue- good quality but color was too bold. I just received the bronze and the quality is poor. One boot sags so much at the ankle that it sits 1/2-1 inch shorter than the other. The shaft leather is very thin compared to past eras in Frye. Disappointed, but I'll still buy Frye boots."
"I used to own a pair of the made in USA version of these boots. The quality was unmatched and I felt like they were definitely worth the price. I had to buy a new pair because i outgrew the others size wise, and since the company began manufacturing in Mexico, the quality is absolutely terrible. I received two boots two completely different colors of leather. There’s no fresh leather smell anymore and the soles are rubbery and look cheaper. The leather is thinner as well. So disappointed in Frye for cutting quality and selling at the same price to make more profit."
