"I followed the advice of reviewers and sized half a size down, from a 7 to a 6. 5. In most ballet flats, I get my usual size of a 7, so I was confident a 6. 5 would fit correctly according to the reviews. The 6. 5 are HUGE! I can't even attempt to make them work. I can fit a whole finger between my heel and the heel of the shoe. They were also final sale! I genuinely wonder if there was a manufacturing issue with this pair. Unfortunately, they are final sale, so I have no way of trying another size."

I searched the site for

"I searched the site for a nice pair of shoes for my wife, and set the search filter to size 8. 5. When I added the item to the cart and checked out, I was not paying attention, and the pre-selected size was 6. 5. I got the text confirmation 5 or so minutes later and noticed the wrong size. I immediately called customer service and they got back to me the next day. They refused to allow me to exchange it for something of equal or lesser value, because it was a sale item. They suggested I resell the item as used on their site. No thanks, lesson learned. Further, there is no country of origin info on the site. These shoes are made in China."

Buyer Beware: Sizing chart is a failure

"I am extremely disappointed with this purchase. I followed the size chart meticulously, yet the sizing is horrifyingly off. My feet are literally swimming in these shoes, they fit more like loose flip-flops than structured footwear. While I understood the "Final Sale" policy at checkout, that policy should assume the product is sized accurately to the brand's own charts. Also to be charged $12 in shipping for an item that is unwearable due to a manufacturing scale error is a total waste of money. Between the inaccurate size guide and the lack of flexibility, Frye has lost a customer. I will never buy from this site again! Zero Stars."

sizing problem

"it's an adorable shoe, but the sizing is absurd. They run a full size too large, and of course there's nothing you can do since they are final sale. I sized down half a size and there's still a considerable amount of space, I don't understand how the sizing can be SO WRONG! i'm hesitant to try other products as they are expensive and unexchangeable if on sale."

"Sizing off and Frye not willing to exchange. I am fully ok with a final sale policy but not when the sizing is so grossly off compared to the fit of all other Frye products I own. So shoppers beware - size down a full size!!!"

Beware, the sizing is WAY off

"These are absurdly large - like I'm actually shocked somebody approved the sizing and they're still on the website. I ordered a 7. 5, and these fit more like an 9. Would not have expected this from a company that prides themselves on their reputation for quality. I will not be ordering again unless this gets resolved at no extra cost."
