People; this is a well

"People; this is a well structured & well fabricated Venetian. I’m a 9 1/2 D, so I went down to a 9, & after it stretches a bit from being worn they should be more comfortable than they are now. There’s always a timeframe/timeline for any footwear to conform to each foot, not just one. The stitching is dialed in & consistently fluent, & the soles are adhered to the bottom of the shoe with a strong & firm grip. These are “tanks” that have a bit of dapper to em. From my opinion & insights, get em. Larry."

Not the same as it once was.

"The shoe started falling apart at the main stitch along the top after wearing them 2 times. FRYE has slowly degraded the quality of their items over the last 5 or so years and that's a shame. I have the last 2 orders I placed in worse shape than boots I've had from them for a decade. That's just not right. You don't get what you pay for any longer with this company."

The shoes that were sent

"The shoes that were sent looked nothing like the advertised shoes. There should be a higher level of quality control to ensure the shoes sent actually resemble the shoes that are being received. Instead of lame explanations of dyes and variations. These are not advertised as seconds are they?"

Terrible size and service

"Next time, instead of wasting money here, I’ll buy Doucal’s."

Terrible fit, and no reasonable exchange option

"I am extremely disappointed with these shoes and with Frye’s customer service. I ordered my usual size, 8. 5, which is the size I normally wear, but the shoes are unbelievably tight and simply do not fit. This is not a minor comfort issue; they are so tight that they are not wearable. What makes the experience even worse is that Frye refuses to allow an exchange. Customers should be able to expect accurate sizing or, at the very least, a reasonable exchange option when the fit is clearly wrong."

Inconsistent size. Poor return policy.

"Size is inconsistent with other Frye products. I order my regular size and they fit too small. I want to exchange them but the return policy does not allow me to. Now I have new shoes I can’t use. Great customer experience"

Lesson Learned Do Not Purchase

"Very poor worlnmanship, stiching made the shoe unwearable upon receipt."

Scam during sale season

"Unfortunately, I used the “perfect fit tool” on the website and entered multiple shoes and styles to ensure I was getting my correct size. The tool told me to get a size 11 and that was way too small. When I tried to exchange, they said that because it was a Black Friday sale it’s automatically “final sale. ” What a weird policy but unfortunately I know proudly own two pairs of shoes that are too small."
